Site Keywords.
Site Keywords allows you to offer metatag information to search engines so they can more easily find you. With Site Keywords you can provide a Title, Description, and Keywords for the search engines. Here's how Google displays the information for AmericanAuthor.com

To set your Site Keywords, open your control panel and click on Site Keywords

  1. Enter a Title for your website. This can be up to 100 characters long and should grab the searchers attention when it appears in the list of other websites on the search engine page.
  2. Enter your Keywords. You can include up to 255 characters worth of keywords. Choose words and phrases that searchers will be using to find your webiste. Be as specific as possible. For example, the title of your book is a much better choice than just using the word "book."
  3. Enter a Description for your website. Although you may enter up to 255 characters, it's best to keep this to 70 or so characters. Many search engines show only a brief description. Write this description to entice searchers to click and open your website.
  4. Update Type. In most cases you'll want to choose Update all pages with these settings so that your keywords apply to every page. Your other option is to choose Update default settings only. If you choose this option, your changes will apply only to new and future pages, not to your existing pages.

Keywords for Individual Pages.
You can also create keywords for each individual page. This can be useful if you have a page with a special topic that searchers will be typing in specific keywords to find. If you've got a page about a hot current event, or about a specific historical figure, etc, creating keywords for the individual page is easy.

In your control panel, click on Standard Pages

Then click on Edit Keywords.

A keyword form appears that applies specifically to the page you are working on. Fill out the Title, Keywords, and Description and click on Update Page.

Do your best job now of filling out your Title, Keywords, and Description. You can return anytime and update your selections. Search engines will regularly visit your website, and when they find new keyword information, they will update their records.

These keyword metatags are important to your search engine success, but even more important than your metatag keywords is the text on your website page. This is the primary source of information for search engines. Make sure that your text on your website pages includes the keywords that people are using to find you. You'll make it much easier for search engines and readers to discover your website.
