Recipes

Food is one of the most important parts of our life, and recipes are one of our favorite things to share. With the recipe feature you can neatly display, organize, and collect up to hundreds of recipes. Recipes are an add-on feature for websites. To add recipes to your website please email or call support for fee information and seteup procedures.

We’ll divide this instruction into two parts.

  1. The essentials you need to get started.
  2. Advanced features

The Essentials.
Open your Control Panel and select Recipes

Recipe Page Properties

 

Most of these are advanced features. For now, you simply need to enter the Recipe Types you want to list. Click on Edit Recipe Types.

 

Click on Add Type

Enter a New Recipe Type (Main Course, Dessert, Salad, Dressing, etc). Click Update Page. Repeat to add more Recipe Types. Create as few or as many types as you would like.

Recipe Pages:

  1. Edit Page: To change the title of your Recipe menu or to change the introductory text, choose Edit Page. A Standard Page appears. When you’re ready, click Update Page
  2. To Add a recipe or Edit and existing recipe, click on Add/Edit Recipes

Add A Recipe

Choose Add a Recipe

Choose Recipe Type. If the proper type is not listed here, go back and add a new recipe type.

Once you’ve selected the type, give your recipe a name.

Add a Description of your recipe

List the Ingredients, including the amount of each ingredient. After you enter each ingredient, press enter.

Give Preparation Instructions.

You can also upload an image for the recipe if you’d like (Optional) And if you'd like to enter background or other information use the Page Editor. When you’re finished, click update page

View Recipe.
Open your website, and click on the recipe to view your finished recipe
