Using Tables - Introduction
Tables are one of the most powerful tools for laying out text and images. If you want to create layouts such as columns or photo albums or ordering options, tables can help you achieve the layout you need. We've divided our table instructions into 4 parts
Inserting A Table.
Open a page in Standard Pages and click on the blue Insert Table Icon

When you click on the blue Insert Table Icon, a Table Selection Box opens. Run your cursor over the table until you highlight the number of rows and columns you want for your table. When you're ready, click your left mouse button.

Your table now appears.
Advanced Table Insert.
You can also select your table by clicking on Advanced at the bottom of the
Table Selection Box. This will open a dialogue box with options.

You can experiment with these options now if you'd like. They will also be explained during the other table instruction sessions.
Selecting A Table to Move or Delete.

One easy way to select your table is to click your cursor inside your table. Now scroll to the bottom of the page and you'll see a list of tags. Click on <TABLE> and you'll see that your table now has selection squares at each corner. You can now drag and move your table on the page, or you can use the Delete key to remove your table from the page.
When you're ready for the next session, please continue with the Table Size and Edit Table instructions.
