Editing Your Image
We’ll click on the sample and use this image. The image now appears in the editor.

- To crop the image click
on Crop. A cropping screen appears. To move the cropping screen, hold down
with your left mouse and drag the screen to where you want it. To resize the
cropping screen, drag one of the small red squares and watch the size of the
cropping screen change. When you’re ready, click Crop. If you’re not happy
with the result. Click undo and start over.
- To resize your photo
drag one of the corner squares to a new size. I use the lower left box because
that’s where the size dialog is displayed. Drag to the size you want and release
the mouse. (TIP: Typical website images have a width of between 100 and 300
pixels. Experiment until you find a size you like for your website. Once you
decide on some standard sizes for your images, try and use these consistently.
Your images will look much better when you use them on your website pages.)
Saving Your Image.

This small dialogue box
appears.

a table, or a cartoon or a logo, choose save as GIF.

a photo choose Save as JPG.
