PayPal_Adding Buttons to your Website

Copy your button html code by first clicking your mouse inside the html code area. Then press Control A to Select all the text. Next press Control C to copy all the text onto your clipboard.

Insert Your Button

Open your Website Control Panel and open the page where you want to insert your button.

Locating Your Button
At the position you want your button to appear, click your cursor and enter a dozen or more x’s (xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) to locate your button position. Highlight these x’s

Source Code View Now switch to source code view so we can paste your html code into your page.

You will see that your x’s are highlighted in source code.

Right click your mouse and select Paste. Your button code is now added to your page. Click on OK to return to Page View.

Your button now appears on your page. Form fields appear next to your button. These will not appear on your Website when you click Update Page. The form fields that include title, price, etc. You can change this information and the changes will be reflected in your shopping cart.

Follow this same procedure whether you’re creating a Buy Now Button, a Shopping Cart Button, or a View Shopping Cart Button. Button Notes:

You can paste a button on more than one page if you do it right when you make the button. For security reasons, you cannot copy PayPal buttons from your website and then move the button to other locations on your website. The button image will appear when you paste in copied code, but the button will not work. If you need a new button and you don’t have the code still on your clipboard, you must go back to PayPal and create a new button.
