Google Buy Now Buttons

If you need a Buy Now Button for the purchase of a single product Google Checkout may work well for you.

Google Commerce is less convenient if you need a shopping cart for multiple products. Although Google can integrate with some online shopping carts, you must first create a shopping cart with a vendor, and then come back to add Google Checkout. If you need a full shopping cart, we recommend using the services of PayPal. For PayPal help, please see our Learning Center instructions for setting up PayPal.

This instruction will show you how to create a Google Buy Now Button.

Get Started:

Go to Google’s Checkout Center (http://checkout.google.com/sell).

Scroll down and click Sign up Now

Follow the instructions to register your account. You will need either your Federal Tax ID # or your Social Security number and a Credit Card account. You will also need your bank account routing information. Once you’ve completed your account you can create your Buy Now button.

Create Button Code

If you’re not logged into your new account, login now and choose Settings. In the menu bar choose Buy Now Buttons

1. If you have a single book with a single shipping price, choose Basic Button. If you have a single Book with multiple shipping prices (regular, express, international) or with hardcover and paperback pricing, choose Button with options.
2. Choose a button Style
3. Describe Your Item. If you have options, fill in one description for each option. They will be displayed on your website in a dropdown menu.
4. When you’re finished, click Create button code.

Your Button Code appears. Click inside the box and then copy your code.
