Adding Video to your Website
There are many ways to add video to your website, ranging from paid professional services to doing it yourself for free. If you need to create video or pay to have a video created for you, search the web for resources and talk with others to find a recommended producer. If you create your own video, you’ll need a way to upload it to a server. YouTube is currently the most popular free service for hosting web video. If you visit www.youtube.com, you can follow the steps to upload video. We’re including step-by-step instructions here that may help you with the process.
Login

Go to www.youtube.com and choose Sign Up (located at the very top line of the home page.)

Create an account or login with an existing account.
Help Files
Before you upload videos, you may want to read the help files to learn about acceptable file types, sizes, etc.
Upload Videos
When you’re ready click on Upload Videos.
Title Information
Fill out the Title information for your video. When you’re ready, click Go Upload A File.

Now Browse your computer for the video file. Choose whether you want your
video to be Public or Private When you’re ready, click Upload Video.
Video Details
This page appears once your video is uploaded You can edit any of these options. When you’re finished, scroll to the bottom and click Update Video Info. To view your videos, scroll back to the top of the Video Details page and click on My Account
Viewing Your Video
In the Videos section, click on My Uploaded Videos

Here you will find the videos you have uploaded. Now you can share,edit, or remove your video. You also have three options for displaying your video on your website.

Embed Video on your Website
When you view a public, shareable YouTube video, you'll see an Embed box
to the right of the video. Click on the icon of your video to bring up the viewing
page.
To the right of the video you'll see video details. Copy the Embed code onto your clipboard. To paste this code onto your website, please see our instructions for Adding Code to Your Website.
Marketing Idea.
Just as you can show your own videos on your website, you can also display profile
icons or embed other videos onto your website. If you find video that will help
you market your book, you may consider creating a page of applicable videos.
YouTube videos can be freely shared. If you’re using video from other sources,
make sure you’re obeying any copyright rules.
